Dom Leangchinh

My name is Leangchinh (LC) and I am honoured to serve as Head Chair for Security Council for AUPPMUNIII. This is going to be my 2nd time chairing for SC and this is going to be my 23rd conference overall in my own MUN journey.

Security Council is at the center in terms of aiding different crises, in relevance to this conference, from the topic of “Preventing a Nuclear Arms Race in the Middle East following Iranian Proliferation” to “Addressing the Deterioration of Regional Peace and Maritime Security stemming from the Ongoing Conflict in Yemen”, it is important to discuss about these situations, finding initiatives to improve the situations and acting now.

Security Council is a legally binding committee, so the deputy chairs and I, hope to see different initiatives at hand for both topics, as well as finding consensus to different solutions as the sole purpose should be aiding the situations in conversation. We hope to see dialogue, negotiations and respect during the 2 days of debate.

See you all soon!

What’s up delegates! I’ll start off with a bougie introduction. I'm Nita, currently a senior at Golden Gate American School, Deputy Chair for AUPPHS-FA MUN III, and an absolute boba enthusiast.

Over my experience being in the mun field, I’ve seen tons of debates that may escalate into chaos; Here’s a quick pro quo: While I am easily intrigued by vigorous debate, please do take note that I am always ready to jump in if anyone triggers a diplomatic crisis before any sessions that include breaks. My job is to keep the debate flowing smoothly while ensuring all rules are respected and cohesiveness is maintained.

Besides MUN, you might find me in the field of playing rhythm games (especially PJSK), watching k-dramas, or just lowkey doing arts that craft my demo. All those aside, let me clock in one of J.F Kennedy’s quotes: “Let us never negotiate out of fear, but let us never fear to negotiate.”

If there are any inquiries, please do not hesitate to reach out to any of my colleagues! With all that being said, I am ready to be absolutely FLABBERGASTED by your noteworthy speeches!

Best of luck delegates!

Heya delegates,

I'm Steven, Steven Wang, currently a 12th grade senior at Logos International School. This is my 7th MUN and 2nd time chairing, and honestly? I'm still just as hyped as my first conference.

Over the years, I've racked up 2 Best Delegates and 3 Honorable Mentions, but here's the thing: awards are cool, but watching a room full of minds building something together, and even learning about things in the moment - that's my magnum opus. That's the energy I'm bringing to the floor this time around. Let me be frank, I've seen committees thrive, and I've seen them crash. I know what works, what doesn't, and what makes a delegate truly stand out. My job isn't just to keep order; it's to push you to debate harder, think bolder, and maybe surprise yourself a little.

I'm really looking forward to whatever tomfoolery (and brilliance) you all have in store for this conference. Bring your A-game, bring your larp, and don't be afraid to get a little chaotic in unmods. That's where the magic happens.

Wishing you all the best of luck. See you in the committee :3
