Greetings Delegates!

My name is Soena Bunnak, and I am currently a junior at CIACA. It is my honor to serve as your Head Chair for this iteration of AUPPHSFAMUN. Model United Nations has always been a memorable and engaging experience for me, and I hope to share that sentiment through UNESCO.

UNESCO, otherwise known as The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, is a committee focused on fostering world peace and security through the fields of education, science, and culture.

I look forward to seeing how delegates will tackle international cooperation in the sciences and communication, as well as your fruitful debates and engaging discussions in this committee.

My name is Rika, an upcoming sophomore from CIACA. With 5 going on 6 conferences attended, I'm thankful for the opportunity to join my first ever AUPPHS-FA MUN conference as your deputy chair!

Trust me, when I say this conference was a first for everything. First conference, chairing, and committee too. So, I'm in the same boat as you guys.. No matter the first experience, what's most important is to be in a space where you are comfortable, engaged, and having fun, while learning core skills such as diplomacy and debating, ending the conference with memories and new friends!

I'm Joohee, a senior at CIA FIRST. It is my honor to be serving as one of your Deputy Chairs for the UNESCO committee at this year’s AUPPHS-FA MUN III.

Having participated in seven MUN conferences, I hope to use my experiences to help guide our discussions and encourage all the delegates to share ideas, collaborate, and work toward fruitful debates and meaningful resolutions throughout the conference. Whether you’re a first time delegate or an experienced one, I hope and encourage you all to leave no regrets behind and do your best!
